OPEN SUNDAY MARCH 20: 2039 Westmoreland Street, Falls Church, VA 22043
We love historic houses. We especially love houses from the 1920s and 1930s. And we really really love historic houses with thoughtful and fabulous renovations. That’s why we are so excited about this new McEnearney listing at 2039 Westmoreland Street in Falls Church.
You Had Us at Hello

Carved and Leaded Front Glass Door and Vestibule at Front Entrance to 2039 Westmoreland
We walked in the front door and pretty much fell in love. This landmark 1920 farmhouse is dynamite. Thought to be part of the original Kirby Farm, it is open with great light, crisp details, an up to the minute color palette, gorgeous kitchen and ranks pretty much an 11 on the happy home scale (with 10 being the happiest, of course). Here’s a link to the full listing and tour.

And then, there’s the back yard. The hand laid brick patio and deck are the perfect place to enjoy a yard ready to burst with well established perennials, specimen trees and by next week, loads of daffodils.
